In my dissertation, I examine the professionalization processes of prospective early childhood educators from a habitus-theoretical perspective. Methodologically, I focus on the Praxeological Sociology of Knowledge and the Documentary Method. Besides that, I am involved in various projects.

Qualifications

  • 2023: Master of Education (Social Pedagogy and German Studies) at Osnabrück University
  • 2020: State certification as a Social Worker (completed in Child and Youth Services)
  • 2019: Bachelor of Arts in Social Work / Social Pedagogy at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences

Experience in industry

Before my current role as a research associate at the University of Osnabrück, I taught as a substitute teacher at a vocational school for social services, spent a year working in the Youth Welfare Office, and completed a Federal Voluntary Service at a comprehensive school.

Teaching responsibilities

I supervise thesis projects and conduct seminars in various field of Vocational Education Studies (e.g., on VET research).
