CoRi CERT

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and with the support of the Costa Rican Ministry of Public Education (MEP), the joint project CoRiCert will be coordinated and implemented by Arbeit und Leben Hamburg from February 2023 to January 2025 in accordance with the guideline for the promotion of implementation projects of organisations of economic and social partners within the framework of international VET cooperation (WiSoVet). The aim of the CoRiCert implementation project in international VET cooperation is to build on the work and capacities, instruments and action models developed in Costa Rica and Germany and to transfer them into a country-specific, demand-oriented model for Costa Rica.

The overall objective of CoRiCert is the development and pilot testing of models and instruments for the examination and certification of dual vocational training programmes in Costa Rica. Support for the development and pilot implementation of new examination models and instruments in dual training for the vocational training programmes in web development and electrical engineering is being provided in collaboration with the network partners University of Osnabrück and ZWH (Zentralstelle für die Weiterbildung im Handwerk e. V.). Standardised national procedures are being developed and implemented to determine vocational skills. Together with the German network partners and the Costa Rican stakeholders, the further development of the training plans is to be promoted and recommendations for action developed.
